Reports of broader therapeutic potential for PN6047

June 29, 2026

PharmNovo AB announces today new preclinical findings supporting the potential of PN6047 in migraine and opioid withdrawal syndrome. The findings were generated through the company's NIDA-funded collaboration with researchers at Washington University School of Medicine.

The new data support the broader therapeutic potential of PharmNovo's lead candidate, PN6047, beyond neuropathic pain. In established preclinical models of migraine and headache disorders, PN6047 demonstrated efficacy while maintaining a favourable safety profile. The findings also support the potential of PN6047 in opioid withdrawal, where headache is a common and debilitating symptom.
